"3 Billion Under 30" contributor reveals the first jobs of some very successful people. Not all of these individuals started at the top of the ladder and it is from that point where they eventually got to where they are now.
An article written by Forbes contributor Ashley Stahl revolves around successful entrepreneurs and what their very first jobs were. Their first jobs were not all glamorous, neither did it all lead directly to their present occupations.
Karen Civil
Karen Civil is the founder and CEO of KarenCivil.com. It is an entertainment website that offers visitors an insider and close-up look into the hip-hop industry.
It specifically covers the up and coming hip hop stars. Examples of rising artists that were featured were Drake and Nicki Minaj.
Karen's first job, believe it or not, started out in Burger King after she was refused by the establishment to purchase the Backstreet Boys cut outs and promos that were used during the release and sale of Backstreet Boys toys.
She ended up applying and working for Burger King simply to get the promotional materials. She later loved dealing with people in customer service and used it as a way to perfect her people skills.
Roberto Blake
Roberto is the founder of Create Awesome Media which is a platform in which he aids firms to market and design their brands. According to his official website, he creates digital content and online media properties.
His first job started at a library in school where a teacher saw Roberto working on a website. The teacher saw his work and hired him to create a website for a side business. He was only in his teens at the time.
Gerard Adams
Gerard is the CVO and President of Fownders. The official website of Fownders states that the firm helps entrepreneurs develop, test, and market their solutions to the challenges of the time.
Adams got his first job offer after a nanotechnology public company CEO contacted him with the intention to advertise something on the latter's website. The website was a forum where new trade ideas could be discovered by stock traders and the latter could receive newsletters and participate in a forum as well.
The CEO asked Adams to work for him when he found out that he was only 19. It was through the CEO that Gerard Adams learned the ropes.
