Sometimes we believe we have everything figured out, especially when we are at the height of a particular career. But then, things could still change. Donnell Turner, star of "General Hospital," talks about his career and passion.

In an exclusive interview Celeb MIX, Turner shared that he thought basketball is where everything will end. But even though he loves playing very much, acting opportunity came in, and he found another passion he can pursue.
"It has been a journey, and one full of incredible life experiences that still surprises me daily. The show so far has been a great new learning experience," Turner said of his career with "General Hospital." "I've had a chance to work alongside people that inspired me. I've met die-hard fans and have gotten to know some of them."
When asked about how he keeps himself motivated particularly during difficult times, Donnell Turner shared to take it one day at a time. He believes that opportunities are often disguised as challenges. He also has a great support team. "My family, my friends, my team. These are people that help me stay focused and remember that life is a gift. I treasure it," he said.
Donnell Turner joined the cast of the daytime soap "General Hospital" in 2015. But before that, he also had some stint in "Days of Our Lives" and "The Young and the Restless." He was also seen in primetime shows such as "Dexter," "Revenge" and "Teen Wolf," as reported by SheKnows.com.
