Tour Guide ($1,800/week)
Summer does not only mean a break from schoolwork, it also means going on vacation. That means there will be a lot of tourists flocking to hot cities and they will be in need of a tour guide.
According to Money, "Free Chicago Walking Tours" owner Jeff Mikos revealed that their tour guides make roughly $45 per hour. On the other hand, if you would rather guide tourists from home, approximately $50 to $100 can be made on writing city guides on where to eat, shop, and see famous spots.
Motivational Dancer ($1,000/week)
Another potential summer job could be being a dancer for events. This is a great way to keep your body fit and avoid your cheerleading skills from becoming too rusty.
Dancing at weddings, birthdays, or company events can make you earn a minimum of $25, writes Money. Richard O'Malley, an owner of a production company, even said that it can go as high as $100 for the enthusiastic and motivational dancers.
