"Gifted with good looks and charismatic aura are most likely to become the leader", Tink tank for Talent Innovation research says. They pointed out that those leaders such as Barack Obama and John F. Kennedy are two of the US President who have the charisma to earn a massive votes during the election, "charisma and good looks are two of the vital ingredient that makes someone to become a leader", the group added.
On the other hand, business leaders such as Yahoo's Marissa Mayer and JPMorgan's Jamie Dimons are undeniably adorable; hence it proves that good looking people have the potential to become a leader.
The said research result was even strengthen with Mattew Kohut book "Compelling People: The Hidden Qualities That Make Us Influential", where it states that "a person's look affect other's perception towards them, people who are gifted with good looks are seen as someone who is compelling".
Kohut believe that being attractive is a big factor in becoming a leader. "CEO's are evaluated based on their position, performance and presence, and majority of them mastered the art of presenting themselves to others, hence they are perceived are someone who is reliable" he added.
Another research based result called "The Beauty Bias" said that attractive students appears to be smart compare to others. The research added that good looking educators usually have a good review, good looking politicians earned most of the votes, and sex appeal makes you do others a favor.
On a statement to their website, Tink Tank for Talent Innovation do not intend to underestimate others, "we are just telling the result of our research, it's factual" they added. They ended their research by stating that people are all potential to become a leader, that's if one have mastered the art of self presentation.
