You don’t mess with Mr. Kanye West. This is probably what comedian Jimmy Kimmel now knows after the fashion designer and performing artists wasn’t too happy with him.
Kanye West tweeted a reply to Mr. Kimmel that got the latter trending worldwide. The tweet was probably due to the fact that Jimmy Kimmel parodied the rapper in a recent show, where “Kanye” was supposedly upset and frustrated over a leather jogging pant design gone wrong.
Kanye West was apparently fresh from an interview with BBC Radio 1 and was reportedly a little upset when he saw a video of the spoof. It seemed like too much of a coincidence, but during the interview, Kanye passionately talked about a design of some leather pants that he had once pitched to Fendi. Fendi reportedly rejected the design, but the trend is all over runways now.
As one can expect, Kanye West was not a happy camper. He started tweeting the following tweets:
“SARAH SILVERMAN IS A THOUSAND TIMES FUNNIER THAN YOU AND THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS IT!!!”
and
"JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS,"
When Kimmel saw or heard about the tweets, he tweeted back:
"I'll tell you the whole story about @kanyewest tonight on the show,". He also added, "This is not a prank, I promise (unless it's being played on me)” and ended with “I like you too! Glad we cleared this up. RT @kanyewest I LIKE YOU, YOU KNOW ME, I WENT TO YOUR FAMILY'S WEDDING.”
There were no reports of Kanye replying back to any of Jimmy Kimmel’s tweets. I guess, its safe to assume that as of now, the singer and the comedian are on the outs, and one shouldn’t expect to see Kanye guest in Kimmel’s show anytime soon.
