Mega Millions Winning Numbers [LIVE STREAM RESULTS]: $173 Million At Stake!! [LIVE STREAM DRAWING & REPORT]

The Mega Millions winning numbers are to appear anytime soon, and lucky ticket holders of the winning numbers will surely enjoy the results of the drawing since the current jackpot for the Mega Millions lottery stands at $173 million this Friday, Sept. 27 drawing. Check out below for the Mega Millions winning numbers!

Jackpot winners of tickets containing the winning numbers are free to choose on how they would like to get paid. Two options are available as of late: "Cash Option" and "Annual Payout." As posted on the Mega Millions website, "Cash Option" refers to the one-time, lump sum payment of the grand prize to the winner, who gets to bring home a rather large $119 million. On the other hand, "Annual Payout" gives winners the more practical option by receiving annual payments for over a 26-year period.

Since there was no grand prize winner in the drawing of the winning numbers for last Tuesday night's Mega Millions draw - the 17th time that this has happened - lottery players are now given a chance to win an estimated jackpot of $174 million for Friday night's drawing of Mega Millions winning numbers.

The odds of winning any prize in the draw is 1 in 40 while the odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot is 1 in 176 million, but this will not stop patrons to hold their lottery tickets during the drawing tonight in hopes of having the golden ticket to the winning numbers.

For the Sept. 24 drawing, the Mega Millions winning numbers were 4, 11, 32, 39, 40, and the Mega Ball number was 33. Apparently no one had the winning ticket for the $160 million jackpot prize, but 6 were reportedly holders of $250,000 winning tickets. Meanwhile, about 29 Match 4+1 winners brought home $10,000.

"The Megaplier ball was originally introduced by the Texas Lottery in mid-2003 as soon as they started selling Mega Millions tickets," Lottery USA said. "It's hard not to draw comparisons with the Powerball Lottery's PowerPlay as both boost or multiply your wins for a small extra cost."

At least 41 states in the U.S. are participating in the multi-state lottery, the Multi-State Lottery Association said. Meanwhile, the New Jersey Lottery has announced recently that they will be offering a multi-state game called "Halloween Millions Raffle." Seven participating states will be given the chance to bring home two $1 million jackpot prizes. The draw for the said game will take place in November 1st.
