It's a sad day for Breaking Bad fans everywhere, as well as it being a huge night for television. Tonight, Breaking Bad airs its very final episode.
Although it's sad that we won't be able to see the TV series' colorful characters on a weekly basis, the finale is actually not completely sad. The series has chosen to say goodbye on a very high note, with millions of fans following it very intently. Breaking Bad will close with 62 episodes in total, as well as 2 Emmy Award for Best Drama and Best Supporting actress (for Anna Gunn's performance) under its belt. The directors of the show Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston were also nominated for a number of Emmys, but unfortunately, failed to take the awards home.
Fans are still unsure of how the season, and ultimately, the series will end, but there have been a number of predictions floating around online. Many are predicting that there will be no bad ending for Breaking Bad's characters. In fact, predictions are high that Walter White will wrap up things quite well, and quite positively.
Of course, there is much fan talk that is expected, and many are already anticipating the complaints that will come in from fans, saying that Walter's character's ending wasn't disturbing enough, or too disturbing, or too good, or vice versa. The bottom line is, and as producer Vince Gilligan expressed it, there is no pleasing everyone.
No matter how the show will end, what fans should focus on is how the whole series evolved, rather than just really look at everything from the ending. Different people will say different things about Breaking Bad's end, but the important and undeniable thing is, the show did give us many nights of great TV. For that, we thank you, Breaking Bad!
