The controversial hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs is again making headlines amidst a fresh string of lawsuits that he considers 'baseless.'

Diddy's String of Sexual Assault Allegations

Former porn star Adria English filed the complaint in New York, with a 114-page filing revealing 33 allegations against Combs and his associates from 2004 to 2009. The lawsuit accused Combs of compelling and coercing her to engage in sex work for him at parties or ruin her career if she refused to comply.

According to his lawyer, Combs has never sexually assaulted or engaged in sex trafficking, and they are confident to prevail against these baseless allegations in court.

The lawsuit marks the latest in a string of legal challenges for Combs, who is currently under federal criminal investigation and faces multiple lawsuits alleging sexual and physical abuse, gang rape, and "serious illegal activity," according to a source familiar with the matter speaking to NBC News.

Series of Diddy's Legal Battles

In November, Combs' former romantic partner Cassie, whose legal name is Casandra Ventura, filed a lawsuit in New York alleging years of physical and emotional abuse.

A video surfaced that seemed to support at least one of Cassie's claims, showing Combs wearing a towel and allegedly assaulting a woman in a hotel hallway in Los Angeles back in March 2016, which CNN identified as Cassie.

Before the video surfaced, Combs had denied all allegations of abuse and misconduct, pledging to vindicate himself and even condemned Cassie's allegations as sickening. Combs later posted an apology on his Instagram page, expressing disgust with himself and describing the situation as one of the 'darkest times of his life.'

More women have stepped forward with sexual assault allegations against Combs since Cassie's lawsuit was filed, with two women claiming they were teenagers at the time of the assaults. Combs' legal team has submitted court documents seeking to dismiss a lawsuit filed by Jane Doe and partially dismiss another woman's lawsuit.

A week earlier, Crystal McKinney, a former model, filed a federal lawsuit alleging that Combs drugged and sexually assaulted her in 2003 after they met at a Men's Fashion Week event in New York City.

Cassie's lawsuit has been settled, while the others remain pending.

Last month, the sixth woman, April Lampros, 51, alleged that music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs drugged and sexually assaulted her after their initial meeting in 1994 when she was a fashion student in New York City, according to NBC News.

Combs promised to mentor and facilitate industry connections for her but allegedly turned "aggressive" and "coercive." Lampros also discovered he allegedly recorded their sexual encounters without her consent and shared the recordings with others years after cutting ties with him.

No Criminal Liability Was Disclosed Yet

Earlier this spring, federal agents conducted searches at Combs' properties in Los Angeles and Miami, where firearms were discovered. However, three sources familiar with the matter said no further details were provided.

Aaron Dyer, one of Combs' attorneys, said that Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities, characterizing the searches as an ambush based on meritless accusations from civil lawsuits.

Dyer asserted that no findings of criminal or civil liability related to any of the allegations were found, and Combs is innocent and will persistently work to vindicate himself.
