Cressida Bonas and Prince Harry are definitely hearing the wedding bells and are expecting to tie the knot following the younger prince of Wales' 30th birthday, their friends revealed, New York Daily News reported Sunday.
And yes! The former tagged as "Party Prince" is now serious when it comes to settling down with his longtime girlfriend, Cressida Bonas, who just months ago confirmed the quite romantic status they share with each other.
The Telegraph reported that both Cressida's and Harry's friends said the two are now ready to walk the aisle, which could be happening any time soon.
According to several reports, the 29-year-old prince is planning to make a move similar to how his older brother, Prince William, has made the now Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton say "yes" to a proposal.
"Cressie is going to marry Harry," one of Bonas' friends revealed. "Harry never stops talking about marriage and children, and she has now got used to the idea. The wedding is likely to take place next year."
Prince Harry was reportedly introduced to the 24-year-old socialite back in May 2012 by a cousin, Princess Eugenie of York.
"Harry never stops talking about marriage and children, and she has now got used to the idea. The wedding is likely to take place next year." a source told the Telegraph. "She thinks she is far too young to get married and is scared by all his talk of marriage and settling down."
In a recent conversation with Katie Couric, Harry said that he is now yearning to have his own kids after his brother and Kate had welcomed their own, even adding that he wants to have it with the "right person," and could it be Cressida?
Although the two are not spotted together most of the time, they made a recent appearance during a James Blunt performance, and everyone who saw them commented that the two really "look happy and in love."
Mirror News UK reported that Harry is now expected to pop the question to Cressida a couple of weeks from now, according to several insiders.
The Royal household courtiers are reportedly preparing for the next royal romance.
"Palace staff can't be seen to be formally acting for Cressida. However they recognise a duty of care towards someone so seriously involved with a senior member of the Windsors," a royal source said. "They're making a conscious effort to ensure she is looked after and protected, following the Kate Middleton model."
"For now they want to enjoy as much time together before the seriousness of their relationship becomes public," the source added.
