Once upon a time, a prince and a princess fell in love, and they were to wed, and it was a happy ending for the both of them.
This is how several plots of fairytales go, and will finally be happening for the actors who play Snow White and Prince Charming on the hit ABC TV series "Once Upon A Time," where characters from fairytales are transported to the real world through an evil curse by the evil witch Regina and Rumpelstiltskin.
Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas play snow White and Prince Charming respectively in "Once Upon A Time," where they are also alternatively a school teacher, Mary Margaret, and David Nola, who had been comatose at the beginning of the "Once Upon A Time" Curse.
However in real life, Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas are engaged! The duo, who fell in love while on the "Once Upon A Time" set, are engaged as is confirmed by several reliable sources.
"We are so thrilled to announce our engagement and can't wait to celebrate with our friends and family, including our second family at 'Once Upon a Time,'" they said in a statement on Friday.
GInnifer Goodwin, 35, and Josh Dallas, 31, had begun dating in 2011 after being cast as the prince and princess love team on the ABC fantasy drama.
Dallas says that their real-life relationship actually helps their onscreen relationship: "It's definitely a plus that we get to spend so much time together," he said. "I think it adds something; it adds a different dynamic to the characters that we're playing that we can bring to it. It's always a great day going to work with [her]; she's a fantastic actress and I learn so much from her."
Goodwin, meanwhile, had been previously engaged but had called off the engagement months later. But now it looks like she will have her happy ending after all.
