September employment report will be finally released on Tuesday, reported the Bureau of Labor Statistics on Thursday after a revised schedule for the economic reports that were postponed during the government shutdown that endured for 16 days.
After being scheduled for a first time for release on Friday, Oct. 4 because of the government shutdown that kept the nation in halt, the September employment report isn't the only one since the September consumer price index and the September producer price index reports were pushed back as well being rescheduled to be released on Wednesday, October 30 and one day earlier, respectively.
In the last employment report, the Labor Department said that around 169,000 jobs were added to nonfarm payrolls during August with an unemployment rate of 7.3%.
Moreover, economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland warned that the recent shutdown could harm the accuracy of the monthly consumer price index estimates being that some of the October data will never be collected since the data collection relies upon field staff visiting shops, reported CNBC news.
