Fans Set-Up 'Walking Dead Convention' for November 1 to 3

Because of a steady and dedicated fan base growing with each episode, followers of the AMC zombie hit, The Walking Dead, has organized a convention that will begin on November 1 until 3.

Shows in the past that have massive fans (like Star Trek and Twin Peaks) have a yearly gathering for its fans, and followers of The Walking Dead made sure they'll be able to express their love for the show on November 1 to 3 for a convention.

Called "Walker Stalker Con," the meet-up for fans was arranged by Eric Nordhoff and James Frazier, and was inspired by a road trip they took last fall from the Nashville to Atlanta, Geogia to witness the show's filming.  The "Walker Stalker Con" is expected to attract more than 10,000 Walking Dead fans, and will feature exciting trivia games for obsessed followers to join in.

According to the convention's creators, stars from the show will grace the Walker Stalker Con with appearances. Norman Reedus, who plays bad ass hillbilly Daryl Dixon, will attend the event, as well as Andrew Lincoln who plays the show's lead, Sheriff Rick Grimes. Farm girl, Maggie Greene, played by Lauren Cohan, will also appear for the fans in the said event.

The convention will also feature one star of the show, Robert Singleton, who played "T-Dog" from seasons 1 to 3, performing a one-man play. It will tell the stories of his personal struggles growing up before becoming a television actor.

The Walking Dead returned for a much-awaited fourth season last week, drawing in 16.1 million viewers. According to research magnate, Neilsen, the show's October 13th episode, broke its previous record of 12.4 million viewers. Surely, AMC has hit the primetime jackpot after highly-rated success from Breaking Bad.
