Only one of either Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal, or Zlatan Ibrahimovic of Sweden will be present at the FIFA 2014 World Cup to be held next year in Brazil, after Portugal was drawn to play against Sweden in the European play-offs.
Captain for the Portugal team, Ronaldo, will be leading his teammates against Ibrahimovic's team Sweden, and fans are already bemoaning having to lose one of the two stars before the FIFA 2014 World Cup.
If Portugal loses to Sweden, they will fail to qualify, making it the first time for Portugal to miss the FIFA World Cup tournament since 1998. Meanwhile, team Sweden has been aiming to reach their 12th participation in the FIFA World Cup,, after having missed the chance to play in South Africa in 2010.
