Apple today announced its new MacBook Pro line with Retina display featuring the fourth generation of Intel Core processors, longer battery life, faster flash storage and next generation Wi-Fi.
Starting at $1,299, the MacBook Pro is 0.71 inches thin with option of a 13-inch or 15-inch screen size; a dual-core Intel Core i5 processor up to 2.6 GHz or even better, a quad-core i7 processor up to 2.6 GHz depending on the version.
The 13-inch MacBook Pro delivers up to nine hours of battery life, two more hours than the previous generation; whereas the 15-inch version delivers up to eight hours, one hour more than before and comes with the brand new technology Iris Pro integrated graphics.
All versions include dual Thunderbolt 2 ports delivering up to 20Gbps of bandwidth to each external device and ship with new operative system OS X Mavericks.
On the negative side, Apple halved the amount of RAM in the entry-level model to 4Gb.
As of today, both version are shipping.
