The famous couple is engaged! Rapper Kanye West, popped the big question to Kim Kardashian yesterday on her birthday in San Francisco's AT&T park.
Many have been wondering when Kanye will propose to Kim, especially that their daughter, North West, was born in September. Now, fans don't have to wait anymore as it is official, the two are engaged. West rented out the entire AT&T ballpark for Kim's birthday and asked for her hand in marriage. The reality star posted a black and white photo on her Instagram account showing the huge diamond ring on her wedding finger with the caption "YES!!!"
Kardashian's representative, Ina Treciokas, has confirmed the engagement of the two stars, and no wedding date has been released yet. This will be the third marriage for the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, after she married music producer Damon Thomas in 2000, and NBA star Kris Humphries in 2011. Thomas worked with the likes of Pink, Faith Evans, and Jessica Simpson, while Humphries played for the Dallas Mavericks and the Boston Celtics. Humphries' marriage to Kardashian only lasted 72 days and ended in a highly-publicized divorce. And now that Kim and Kanye are engaged, it's no surprise if Kim is already picking out wedding gowns this early.
While Kim has been going around in marriages for a couple of times already, this will be the first for the "College Dropout" rapper. Reports say that Kanye has no qualms on marrying her "baby mama" despite Kim's rocky history of saying "I do."
We wonder if this marriage will last. Fans are quite optimistic about the fact that Kim and Kanye are engaged, and only wish the couple the best.
