The Elaborate Surprise: How Kanye West Proposed to Kim Kardashian

Stanlee Gatti, the event organizer who put Kanye West's surprise proposal to Kim Kardashian in action, shared the secrets of the most talked-about celebrity engagement.

On Monday night, Kim Kardashian not only celebrated her 33rd birthday, but she also got to say "yes" to Kanye's engagement in San Francisco's AT&T ball park. West, thanks to the massive help of professional event organizer, Stanlee Gatti, surprised the reality star with a well-thought of blow out and a huge diamond ring.

The "Yeezus" rapper met Gatti in a common friend's dinner last year, and it was only last week that the two reunited for a plan.

"(He) gave me his vision, was very nice, very cool. He has great taste, and he goes into every detail the way you'd always want your client to go into every detail, because it's all very important to him," said Gatti as reported by SFgate.com. At first, Kanye only wanted to throw a surprise birthday party for his baby mama, but it was on Sunday night when he realized it was his chance to propose. Gatti then rounded-up his team, who were all willing to work hard last minute.

"I gave them Kanye's vision. They thought this was a surprise for Kim's birthday. Even the people running the Jumbotron control didn't know until the last minute what we were going to put on there," revealed the organizer in the same SFgate post.

Gatti said that to execute the surprise, the rapper led Kim to their car and drove to the field, and the couple was greeted with the sound of applause as they got out. Upon Kim's arrival, 75 Roman candles were lit behind the stage. When Kim opened her eyes, she was greeted by a 50-piece orchestra playing Lana Del Rey's 'Young and Beautiful,' and Kanye went down on his knee and said "Please marry me."

Kim, of course, said yes, as friends and family of the star run out in the field afterwards. Kim wore a Valentino dress while Kanye looked highly tasteful in a tuxedo and suede leather boots. A camera crew from E! was waiting inside the stadium and filmed the entire thing.

This will be Kim's third wedding, and hopefully, third time's the charm!
