After serving only half of his sentence Michael Jackson's convicted killer Conrad Murray was released from jail today. During his time served the Doctor say he has come to the realization that he has what it takes to fill Jackson's moonwalking shoes. This is but one future endeavor he will be undertaking in his return to freedom, along with having his medical license reinstated and writing a book about his relationship with Jackson.
The maestro of malpractice only spent four years in the Men's Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles, after prescribing a fatal dose of Propofol to Michael Jackson who had been suffering insomnia while preparing for a comeback tour. Jail overcrowding and good behavior are credited for his early release. There was said to be a crowd gathered in "Thriller Killer" t-shirts protesting his release, but Murray slipped out of the jail unharmed, though when cries of murderer came from the crowd , his lawyer stopped to explain he had only been convicted of involuntary manslaughter.
At age 60, he is facing an age handicap when it comes to breaking into the pop market like Jackson who got his start as a child in the Jackson 5. A court petition in regards to his medical license has in fact , been filed and publishers would no doubt fight over the rights to such a book, but record label would be leery to sign an artist of Murray's age. His former bodyguard has speculated that this may be due to a breakdown he believes Murray to have suffered .
He said Murray also thinks he is close to Jackson's surviving children, Paris, Prince and Blanket, despite reports that the children not only want nothing to do with their father's killer, but have asked him to leave the country. Such a move might prove to be wise for Murray if he does intend to launch a pop career as Jackson's fame had grown in America, even after child molestation controversy had caused it to wane in America.
When asked about his plans as a free man Murray stated , he will restart his life and become a model to show the world that even in the face of adversity, when bad things happen to good people they can restart their lives and find success. Jail officials claimed Murray spent most of his time locked up and along reading book, so one can assume his pop aspirations might be premature , as there is no evidence he took dance or singing lessons while in jail.
