New of the Jonas Brothers splitting up have reached headway, and fans that are hoping that the "A Little Bit Longer" singers stay together, well, a little bit longer, may end up being disappointed.
The Jonas Brothers had called it quits after a disagreement, cancelling their road tour earlier this month, after what their manager says that a "deep rift" has formed beween Jonas brothers Kevin, Joe, and Nick.
"It's over for now," Kevin Jonas, 25, oldest of the Jonas brothers told the media.
"It was a unanimous decision," adds middle Jonas brother Joe Jonas, 24.
The Jonas Brothers received worldwide fame in 2005 shortly after forming their band, and appearing in a Disney Channel series in which they were the main characters. Reports say that the Jonas Brothers breakup was finalized back in October 3 when the youngest Jonas Brother, Nick Jonas, 21, came to speak with his brothers, voicing out concerns for his future.
"I was feeling kind of trapped," said Nick, who in 2009 started his own band, Nick Jonas & the Administration, and has since focused on his acting, including a run in "Les Misérables" on Broadway's West End, a role in the upcoming "Careful What You Wish For." "I needed to share my heart with my brothers." Nick Jonas adds.
But was the Jonas Brothers breakup caused by a huge argument?
"There are no personal issues," a reliable source tells the media, "They just all wanted different things. They love each other. They always will."
Kevin Jonas is expecting his first child with wife Danielle, and is busy focusing on fatherhood.
Joe Jonas meanwhile wants to do acting and mre music.
Nick Jonas wants to focus on his music and Broadway.
"They have different career aspirations now. They are not the same people they used to be," the source adds. "Family comes first which is why this was the best decision for them as brothers."
