Reede Smith has 'red' in his name. But of that's far too obvious, Smith's suspicious actions may be hint enough. However, former Red John suspect Bob Kirkland may be the only person to know before anyone else. Problem is, he's dead.
When Kirkland and Smith spoke to each other, Smith was believably meek. And seconds later, Smith revealed another side of himself, and shot Kirkland dead.
In "FIre and Brimstone," Jane narrows down his list of Red John suspects by forcing three out of the five suspects present to stand up at gunpoint: CBI Director Gale Bertram, Napa COunty Sheriff Thomas McAllister...and Reede Smith.
