Ravenswood season 1 episode 5 is sadly the midseason finale episode of the instant hit 'Pretty Little Liars' spinoff, but don't worry show fans, Ravenswood will be back in January before you know it. However, for now, we are going to witness more shocking if not disturbing revelations about the gang especially about Miranda's estranged family. But on the lighter side of things, now that we know Miranda's feelings for Caleb, can we expect them to have this romantic connection in a "Just Like Heaven" kind of way? Of course, we know that Caleb and Hanna are still on, but will their not-so-long distance relationship finally take a toll on them anytime soon? Following last week's Ravenswood episode 4 "The Devil Has A Face," where we saw Miranda (Nicole Anderson) reconnecting with her mother and where we saw her finally admitting the fact that she has romantic feelings for Caleb (Tyler Blackburn), this week's episode is going to be more interesting as Miranda is to finally get the family reunion that she deserves, only to find out that she has this sister all along. And we should really warn you that her little sis named Max is kind of creepy. Meanwhile, Caleb will have a surprise visit from Hanna (Ashley Benson), who is apparently back at Ravenswood for some reason we are about to find out when Ravenswood episode 5, titled "Scared to Death," airs tonight. In a sneak peek to the all-new episode of Ravenswood, we can see Miranda reuniting with her family on the other side, which by the way pretty much looks like the same thing as the real world. However, a shocking revelation is made when she finds out that she has this sister named Max, a young blondie who has this inclination to brush her doll's hair. However, we can sense that she doesn't like Miranda's reunion with them based on her 360-degree head turn and evil glaring at Miranda in one of the previews. And all of these things are being followed by Caleb through his nightly visions. Wow! Such strong connection with Miranda, huh? Meanwhile, we can see Mrs. Grunwald giving a caveat to Raymond Collins, saying "you have to hurry." Like what does she mean by this? Is she referring to the curse that is plaguing the town? On other news, Brett Dier, who plays Luke,dished to Zap2It recently about the action-packed midseason finale episode of Ravenswood tonight, and he certainly didn't forget to share about the haunted house where they are currently filming the episodes. "The place where we're shooting in was actually pretty spooky. It was a mansion and I don't think anybody lived there for a long time. ... I wandered around in the house by myself and I was really scared," says Dier. "It kind of looks like the 'Addams Family,' that mansion. We shoot in there a lot. There's a lot of action [there] in episode 5." Then, Dier adds, "We're all into this together for sure now. ... Now that we can all see [Miranda], it really binds the group together and we're all just in it together and trying to figure out what's going on. [Luke] has had trouble accepting it because so many things have happened in his life. He doesn't want to accept that there's somebody trying to kill him." Additionally, Nicole Gale Anderson spilled some interesting things about the upcoming episode, and of course she also talked about the romantic hints between Caleb and Miranda. "The forbidden love, if you will, between Caleb and Miranda...it's something that we're developing but he's very respectful toward his relationship with Hannah. He doesn't do anything inappropriate, if you will. He's just very considerate of her and he's such a very loyal boyfriend," she says. "There's just a lot that we've been through together. For Miranda, he's all that she has right now. He's really the only person that she can talk to and lean on at the end of the day, and he hears all the creepy things she's experiencing. Yeah, there's definitely a strong bond but still it continues on between them," Anderson adds. And on what fans can expect in tonight's show, Anderson simply revealed the storyline in a nutshell. "She basically connects with a spirit that appears to be her mom [and] she meets a little girl named, Max, who is played by this adorable little actress, Isabel. It's kind of a spooky twist. Everything isn't as what it seems. So we're not exactly sure where Miranda went and the episode kind of follows the four characters, keeping together, but the mystery within the fog that Caleb brings them to and the clues that help them find Miranda, where she's gone." The official episode synopsis for the upcoming Ravnswood "Scared to Death" episode reads: "Just when Caleb thought he was getting answers to what may be haunting Ravenswood, he hits a dead end and is left with more questions.
