ObamaCare a.k.a Affordable Care Act, is it really just a BIG SCARE? U.S citizens think that it means NO CARE!

One of the most controversial topics being spoken about in America today is ObamaCare also known as the Affordable Care Act. Everywhere you go there is something going on related to ObamaCare, maybe it's an article in the local paper, you will also see it headlining almost every news channel you turn to and even out in the streets people are continuously talking about it, it's very apparent that everyone is really stirred up about this thing called ObamaCare.

Many people are upset because they fear the unknown, hundreds of thousands of U.S Citizens do not understand ObamaCare or exactly what it means for them and their families. Many people also have a lot fears due to the mere fact that there are many, many rumors out there surrounding ObamaCare which are rapidly spreading.

The elderly account for a high number of the worried citizens and also people who unfortunately aren't as educated as most and simply don't understand many worldly issues as such.

Exactly what will happen if someone hasn't complied to the ObamaCare guidelines in the allotted time allowed ?

Many people believe that they will be fined $2000 if they have not complied to the Affordable Care Act guidelines by Jan. of 2014, which is the deadline. There are others who believe that they will not be allowed to file taxes unless they are in compliance.

What exactly are the penalties if someone isn't signed up by the deadline ?
Starting in 2014 the IRS will enforce a penalty of $95 per adult and $47.50 per child for anyone who has not signed up. In 2015 there will be a $285 cap set, and obviously the penalties will increase each year therafter.

I foresee a lot of fines being imposed in the coming years due to the fact that no matter how affordable our Mr.President seems to think his Affordable Care Act is going to make insurance, there are many people who simply can not afford the coverage due to the economy and their existing debts.

Citizens are also worried of having their personal information listed on the websites that are used to enroll in ObamaCare. This new fear exists due to the fact that there has been a lot of news coverage recently stating that the websites for signing up for Obamacare were improperly planned and have the potential of allowing our personal information to be stolen.

Regardless as to whether we want it, or are even ready for it, a change is coming and we can not stop it !
