21-year old pop sensation, Selena Gomez returned to her home state to perform at the Dallas Cowboys half-time show. Gomez, who hails from Texas, rocked the AT&T Stadium on Thanksgiving singing three of her current chart-topping songs. She led with "Walk Like a Champion" then sang "Slow Down" before ending her stellar show with "Come & Get It."
The young pop star emerged from the stage wearing a red mesh and leather bodysuit and a Marina Toybina fringe skirt. Fans cheered on as Gomez wowed the crowd with her dance moves and stunning vocals.
As per tradition, the Dallas Cowboys joined the performance dancing around the stage as Selena Gomez sang. The show kicked off the Salvation Army's 123rd Red Kettle Campaign. This drive provides toys, shelter and food to families in need.
In addition to performing on stage, Selena Gomez will also host her own Online Red Kettle to encourage fans to donate to The Salvation Army. Fans can go online and join Gomez's team with eight fundraisers receiving the chance to connect with Selena through a Google Hangout.
The young superstar began her career on the set of Wizards of Waverly Place, a Disney show where she played a plucky young wizard. It didn't take long for her population to rise among the tween crowd. When Selena Gomez branched out into music as part of The Scene, her fans followed. She has since won multiple awards both for her acting and singing careers. Gomez has won the 2011 People's Choice Award for Favorite Breakout Artist, the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards for Best Pop Video and multiple Kids' Choice Awards for her role in Wizards of Waverly Place.
