Yes! It could be an interesting plot for a cougar-themed love story, but it isn't. However, fans are very intrigued after news and a few pics of Jennifer Aniston and the much younger Ed Sheeran celebrated Thanksgiving together.
According to People, which first broke the news about 44-year-old actress Jennifer Aniston and 22-year-old Ed Sheeran spending some time together during Thanksgiving, the two stars were spotted happily celebrating the occasion together, but it was not at all over a romantic date. Instead, they met at a party where a common friend was also invited. We are referring to Jennifer's BFF and former FRIENDS co-actor Courteney Cox.
Aniston's manager, Aleen Keshishian, was the one who posted a photo with Aniston and Sheeran on Instagram Thursday, and it quickly sparked interest among fans.
On Nov. 19, singer Ed Sheeran posted a pic with Courteney Cox with a caption that reads: "My friend Courteney is nominated for a People's Choice Award for favorite cable tv actress," he wrote adding, "She's never won one before and she lets me [live] in her beach house so how's about we all vote for her and win her the damn thang eh?"
49-year-old Cox reportedly responded to Sheeran's post with: "You sweet thing!"
Although it was made pretty clear that Aniston and Sheeran didn't have any romantic this going on, several fans of Sheeran and his best friend Taylor Swift couldn't help but react to possible dating issue between the older actress and the young singer.
Meanwhile, Aniston's fans are saddened by the fact that her recent boyfriend Justin Theroux officially called it quits and decided to cancel the wedding prior to moving back to New York City, and leaving Aniston in Los Angeles. Nevertheless, they are happy that the actress took time to spend Thanksgiving with her friends.
