The finale of AMC's Walking Dead has fans shocked as character death toll is on its record high. Fans of the show discussed on Twitter the characters who will no longer be seen in the upcoming episodes as the season comes to an end.
Among the many casualties that have fans stunned were the deaths of Hershel and Meghan. The Governor played by David Morrisey beheaded Herschel but was eventually overpowered by Michonne and was shot by Lily.
The actor playing the role of Hershel Greene, Scott Wilson, told The Hollywood Reporter after episode 405, Scott Gimple already informed him of his character's demise. Wilson adds how he understands the difficulty being in Gimple's role to be the one telling actors that their characters have already been written off.
Although fans who tweeted about mixed reviews and opinions about the show, creator Robert Kirkman did assure the fans that the next half will be the ''boldest, bravest and most exciting ever'. He adds that people will be on their own trying to survive for the second half.
Some fans are happy that The Governor have finally gotten a kick but some were also mourning at the loss of Herschel, a beloved character among Walking Dead die-hard fans.
