The actress described Paul as "an enormous presence" in her life. She talked of how the humble actor never paid attention to his material success, choosing instead to see the spiritual side of things. He never bragged about his charitable contributions, choosing to keep silent unless prodded to share.

He lived with integrity, humanity and humility and seemed most happy when talking about his daughter, Meadow," Jordana Brewster continues in her statement as reported by Entertainment Weekly. "I don't know anyone who lived each moment more fully and loved life more than Paul; making his loss all the more heartbreaking."
