Woman Bites Into Razor Blade In Dunkin Donuts Croissant [VIDEO]

An unsuspecting Connecticut woman, expecting to partake only in a delicious Dunkin Donuts croissant, got more than what she bargained for when she bit right into shards of a blade within the pastry.

The razor blade croissant was ordered by a Ms. Priscilla Salas as she made her usual Dunkin Donuts stop. After biting into the Dunkin Donuts Croissant she immediately felt something very sharp cut her lip, only to later find out that she had been chewing on shards of metal, some of which almost an inch long.

"Oh my god, is this what I think it is?" is what a horrified Ms. Salas admitted to thinking once she picked out the shards from her mouth. She is expected to heal fine.

Ms. Salas is, however, worrying that a child may fall victim to another razor blade croissant (or, perhaps, a scissor blade donut is already on the racks in Dunkin Donuts everywhere!), and given that a child's mouthparts and digestive bits are much more sensitive than an adult's, be more prone to deadly injuries.

"Could be a little kid eating it and not noticing it, and just next thing you know, mouth bleeding or something. So it is concerning,"  Ms. Salas said to the media.

Further investigations have concluded that the metal shards may not be the parts of a razor blade but of a box cutter.

"They felt it was probably a frozen croissant from distribution center and they were going to find the exact location of it." Say officials.

Ms. Salas said that Dunkin Donuts have already formally apologized to her, and will be sending her a gift card for her trouble, but the good-hearted woman says that she is not concerned for the money or the number of (presumably safe) baked goods the gift card entitles her to, but for the welfare of others. "I just think that it's a public hazard...I just want the public to know and to be aware what they buy and look over everything they eat."
