Adam Levine is dead. Such is the claim of a recent news that is circulating the Web for a couple of days now. Additionally, there is even a Facebook page for Maroon 5's frontman alleged death. But before another fan goes gloomy and suicidal over the "could have been unfortunate" news, it has already been clarified that Levine is not dead but is simply the newest addition to Hollywood celebs who reportedly died this year through several celebrity death hoaxes.
According to the Global Associated News, Adan Levine died due to a car crash in Australia. However, the report from this site is now "missing in action" just days after it tricked a lot of people into believing the news.
Mediamass reports that it has already been confirmed that the news about Adam Levine's death this 2013 is not at all true. In reality, Levine is simply the newest celeb in the celebrity death hoax list.
To be exact, rumors about the alleged death of Levine surfaced when an "R.I.P. Adam Levine" page was set-up Saturday. At the "About" page of the new website, one can read: "At about 11 a.m. ET on Saturday (December 14, 2013), our beloved singer Adam Levine passed away. Adam Levine was born on March 18, 1979 in Los Angeles. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page."
Although most of the people who stumbled upon the page knew right away that it was a death hoax, hundreds couldn't help but immediately show their sympathy to the alleged dead singer. Because of this, a commotion happened on Twitter just a few days after the supposed death of the 34-year-old singer.
Meanwhile, based on the feedback of the viewers and readers, about 74% claim that they do not find this prank funny anymore.
On December 15, Sunday, Adam Levine's reps finally spoke to the media about the circulating news claiming that the Maroon 5 frontman was, after all, alive and is perfectly safe. "He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He's still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet," his reps said.
