A great fuss was made when Google made it possible to play Atari Breakout by just typing the game's name on Google Images.
Google, known for commemorating important periods of history by changing its banner image on their search site, surprised game lovers when it did something extraordinary for the classic Atari game.
As part of celebrating the game's 37th birthday, Google made this amazing tweak by making it possible to play Atari Breakout on Google Images.
Millions of fans were happy about the tweak and as predicted, the news went viral on Twitter.
To try the game, you just need to type "Atari breakout" on Google Image Search and hit enter. The search results will be displayed but they will be organized in a way which is very likely to the Breakout's game play, you will have to demolish the bricks through the ball.
Google made all of this possible May of this year and it received positive response worldwide. Game lovers even petitioned the Internet giant to do the same for other classic video games.
Atari breakout was created by Nolan Bushnell and Steve Bristow in 1976. The game was based on Pong and became a success ever since its inception. Atari Breakout was followed by sequels and mini games as well as hundreds of variations throughout the years.
Many people are comparing it to the highly addictive Candy Crush Saga, warning people that they may waste a lot of time playing the game.
