BBC's Sherlock is set to air this January 1st, but the hit detective series has already released a mini-episode to tease fans and keep them asking for more just in time for the return of the show.
The seven-minute episode of Sherlock is titled 'Many Happy Returns' and is nowhere related to the first episode of the third season titled 'The Empty Hearse.'
However, the mini-episode features an interesting side story on what Sherlock's been up to. Additionally, fans will see how Anderson tries to put the pieces together in an attempt to bring down the famous detective.
Meanwhile, BBC has also created a new blog post from 'John Watson' and it seems our dear doctor is trying really hard to move on after Sherlock's death.
According to The Verge, the mini-episode format is one that Sherlock showrunner Stephen Moffat has also done in the past for the 50th anniversary of 'Doctor Who.' Moffat used to shoot short prequels that helped explain some of the episode's more dramatic developments.
