Miesha Tate: The Truth Behind Bad Blood Between UFC women stars Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey

Miesha Tate has always been upfront of her dislike of Ronda Rousey and now she's willing to voice the reasoun out in plain, simple words.

Even before their first match, the underlying resentment Miesha Tate has for women's MMA legend Ronda Rousey has been obvious. Even before their stint in The Ultimate Fight and before the issue of Rousey ripping her boyfriend, Miesha Tate holds feelings of resentment and dislike for Rousey who currently holds the title of UF women's bantamweight champion.

The fact remains however that the reason why wasn't really anything personal between the two.

Miesha Tate claims that to date, the real reason why she could not help but hate her UFC 168 opponent last Saturday is that she thinks Rousey has not paid her dues properly.

To Miesha Tate, Rousey is an "intruder" and "interloper" in women's MMA. She rejects the idea of Rousey being a pioneer and describes her opponent as someone who had caught the wave at the precise time.

Though Tate does agree that Rousey earned her popularity and her belt with her own capability, she doesn't believe the UFC champion has much in common with her legendary predecessors in women's MMA such as Megumi Fujii and Tara LaRosa.

"Every single woman that fights MMA has done just as much work as Ronda has, we just haven't gotten as much turnaround," Miesha Tate shared in a Monday interview with FOX Sports. "Those women who came before her haven't been on magazine covers, they weren't plastered everywhere by the UFC. They didn't get the same reward back. She got 10 times back what she was putting in and maybe everyone else was getting 1 to 1."

Tate also shared some bad blood with UFC women champ LaRosa but Miesha Tate still gives her credit as the originator. Tate also said that her Saturday win is for every woman who fought and struggled "for breadcrumbs" and "only for the love of the sport."
