Rachel Zoe confirmed the unusual name she and her husband gave their first child whom Zoe gave birth to on Sunday.
It was Monday when Rachel happily announced through The Zoe Report, her personal website, that her new little boy is named Kaius Jagger. She gave him the nickname Kai for short.
While most would think that Rachel is simply joining the celebrity bandwagon obsessed with giving their babies strange names, the meaning behind her new baby boy's name is beautiful and meaningful. For those who need to catch up on their Latin lessons, "Kaius" is a term that means "happy".
As of now, most reactions to her new baby have been nothing but positive. However Rachel Zoe has developed a thick hide for criticism after 2011, wherein she had given birth to first child, Skyler Morrison, and later got criticized for sharing pictures of her little boy sporting long, flowing hair.
"Cut his hair. He looks like a girl," one commenter remarked regarding Skyler's pictures.
Right now, Rachel Zoe and her family seem to be still high on new baby hormones and Zoe seems too happy to be affected by unpleasant criticism.
The celebrity designer mentioned in her website that she wanted her loyal readers to be the first to catch a glimpse of her newborn baby where she revealed her baby's complete name as Kaius Jagger Berman. She remarked in her post that she, Rodger and Skyler are madly in love with the child and she will be taking a break, "hibernating" for the next few weeks.
Rachel Zoe also expressed heartfelt thanks to her fans and wished all of them happy holidays.
Rachel has not been very secretive about her baby boy and has posted a lot onlne, including a quck tweet regarding her baby boy's arrival with a picture of herself carrying the newborn in her arms.
She shared that Kaius Jagger is 7 pounds and 12 ounces upon his birth.
Rachel Zoe also shared plans to take a break and spend all of her time with little Kaius. She wrote earlier this December that she has plans of "month-long staycation at home," and surprised everyone by cancelling travel plans for the holidays for the first time in 15 years.
