Dakota Fanning has chosen New York City over the idea of living with her sister Elle in Los Angeles, RadarOnline reported Dec. 25.
According to the report, the older sibling, who has been in the showbiz industry since she was a little girl, is now done with Los Angeles and has decided to keep her distance from her little sister Elle Fanning as well.
It can be noted that these celebrity siblings rarely appear together in public to establish their own identities from each other.
"They have something of a peace treaty, in the sense that Elle gets L.A. to herself, while Dakota is much happier in New York. Dakota is living off of the fortune she made as a child actor, instead of chasing after every big job under the sun," a RadarOnline source said.
Additionally, reports say that Dakota's move is to give her sister an advantage in taking Hollywood by a storm. In fact, Elle Fanning has four major movie projects that are set for 2014 releases.
"Elle is the more ambitious one. Dakota is the one who could quit acting to start a band at the drop of a hat. Dakota is completely unimpressed with the red carpet culture in Hollywood, while Elle totally worships it," the same source added.
Elle Fanning recently worked with Angelina Jolie in 'Maleficent,' a project that is due come May 30, 2014. Based on the feedback from the 37-year-old Hollywood actress, she was very impressed with the 14-year-old co-star such that she is now anticipating working with the Dakota Fanning's sister in the future.
