Speaking of performance, if you are after a smartphone that can handle multi-tasking efficiently, then you don't need to look any further. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3, aside from sporting a second-to-none processor, chipset, and GPU, it comes with 3GB of RAM that ensures fast and smooth multi-tasking, as opposed to the LG G2 which only has 2GB of RAM. However, we are not saying that the G2 cannot handle multiple tasks efficiently, it's just that the Note 3 outshines the other when viewed objectively.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes with v4.3 of the Android Jelly Bean OS, making it the first phablet if not the first smartphone to come with the latest version of the Jelly Bean OS out of the box. On the other hand, LG G2 just follows behind with its competitive v4.2.2 Android Jelly Bean OS.
LG G2 over Samsung Galaxy Note 3
The LG G2 is all about design. The first thing that you will notice when putting this handset side-by-side the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is its almost bezel-free design. It makes the over-all build of the smartphone stunning in many ways than one. Alongside which, you cannot compliment this handset's design without noticing that albeit its humungous screen, it's over-all size is relatively smaller compared to other 5-inch+ smartphones.
If you are more interested in a smartphone that has a more unique design, then the LG G2 is obviously the device for you. This Android gadget takes pride on its compact build that packs in superb if not stellar features. LG's approach to this phone is clearly different from its previous phones. Nevertheless, once you put them one close to the other, you'll notice how more vibrant and vivid the LG G2's display is. This is because LG managed to incorporate 424 ppi to its handset as opposed to Samsung's Note 3, which has 386 ppi of pixel density.
Finally, because of LG G2's smaller form, it is undeniably lighter than Samsung's latest Note smartphone. At 143 grams, the G2 feels lighter when holding it alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which weighs 168 grams.
