Kandi Burruss showed she's more than comfortable with her weight after posting pictures of herself in a revealing swimsuit, despite reality show costar Kenya Moore's opinion of her body.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kandi Burruss shared a picture of herself with 11-year-old daughter Riley having a good time on the beach during the Christmas holiday. In the photo, Burruss was dressed in a curve-flaunting, cut-out swimsuit that showed off the reality star's assets, showing the world she's not ashamed of her body despite what her costar may think.
"Yesterday at the beach! @rileyburruss @kpt_ #FunInTheSun," Burruss said in the pic-framed photo's caption, as posted on Instagram.
Kandi Burruss obviously did not have any issues regarding her figure, as the reality star posed on the sand confidently without a cover-up and effectively quelled rumors that Burruss may be suffering from lack of body confidence after her costar's disparaging remarks.
Bravo beauty Kandi Burruss' sexy photo came out shortly after reality show costar Kenya Moore made a few critical remarks to Burruss regarding her weight on Real Housewives of Atlanta's December 22 episode.
During an educational all-girls' trip to Savannah, Kandi Burruss had rushed up the stairs of their fancy bed and breakfast to claim the best room for herself which prompted former beauty queen Moore to remark, "I don't know what got into Kandi. Maybe she smelled some Chick-fil-A or a burger upstairs."
The quip came just a week after Kenya Moore also said that Burruss could afford to "skip a few meals" when the group stopped for a meal at Chick-fil-A, a fast food joint.
After receiving criticism from the show's viewers for her remarks, Moore attempted to make amends through her Bravo blog, though at the same time encouraged her viewers to purchase her own workout DVD.
"I made a wise crack at Kandi saying she could skip a meal," the former Miss USA wrote in her blog. "Kandi knows I think she has a great figure, so I'm sure she laughed as we have together about the 5-10 pounds she wants to lose. I'm not a tiny girl myself, and I appreciate a woman with curves."
