Chrissy Lampkin is living up to her street cred after the "Love and Hip Hop" star was arrested for getting into a fight in a New Jersey bar. Lampkin not only started a brawl but ended up beating the girl until she needed stitches and a trip to the hospital.
Around 2:30 a.m., the police reportedly arrived at the scene of the fight and arrested Chrissy Lampkin on charges of disorderly conduct and aggravated assault.
The woman who got into a fight with Chrissy Lampkin allegedly exited the bar bloodied up and requiring several stitches above her eye.
The woman was rushed to the hospital for treatment after the incident but no further news on her condition were disclosed.
According to TMZ, Chrissy Lampkin started lashing out after the woman sat on one of the bar's sofas and accidentally bumped into another person. An argument ensued due to the accident, prompting Chrissy to approach the unidentified woman and start the brawl.
The brawl was confirmed to genuine since no cameras were filming them at the time of the incident. There has been no smartphone recording of the fight posted on the internet as of yet.
Shortly after the conclusion of "Love and Hip Hop: New York" show, Chrissy Lampkin and fiance Jim Jones starred in a new spin-off called "Chrissy and Mr. Jones." The second season of the show will conclude this month.
Despite her celebrity status, Chrissy Lampkin served a few hours in jail for her aggressive behavior because of the bar fight. Further sanctions are expected when the charges against the star work through the police system.
Chrissy Lampkin was freed just a few hours after being taken to the police station. Lampkin's fiance, Jim Jones, was the one who bailed the star out of jail.
