Dianna Agron is dead. At least that's what the newest circulating death hoax says. According to the false report Agron died while filming her new movie. However it was found out later on that the actress is perfectly fine and is enjoying her time on vacation after filming her latest acting stint in "The Family."
The celebrity death hoax which appeared on the Global Associated Press - a site notorious for spreading false reports on the alleged deaths of famous celebrities and TV personalities - stated that the "Glee" alum fell more than 60 feet on the Kauri Cliffs in New Zealand at around 4:30 a.m. on January 2, 2014.
Furthermore, the death hoax was made believable through certain statements claiming that New Zealand Police officials confirmed the death of the 27-year-old actress.
Fans who read the circulating death hoax thought that it was real, so they took they expressed their sympathy to Agron's family via social media sites.
Many even tweeted that they will surely miss the "Glee" alum even pointing out that she will surely be missed.
Nevertheless, many became very suspicious after several hours since the report has not reached mainstream news. Not a single channel even reported about Dianna's death let alone her accident.
Looking at the circulating report and link closely, one will see that a note at the bottom of the page reveals that the said report was simply a computer-generated hoax.
"THIS STORY IS 100% FAKE! this is an entertainment website, and this is a totally fake article based on zero truth and is a complete work of fiction for entertainment purposes! this story was dynamically generated using a generic 'template' and is not factual. Any reference to specific individuals has been 100% fabricated by web site visitors who have created fake stories by entering a name into a blank 'non-specific' template for the purpose of entertainment," the note reads.
Some fans who found out about the note slammed the report and condemned how "pathetic" these celebrity death hoaxes are.
Dianna Agron joins the list of celebrities who have become victim to this computer-generated hoax. Other celebs who have been axed by these false reports include: Sarah Hyland, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Celine Dion, Woody Harrelson, and many more.
The actress has not commented on the issue as of late.
