Alyssa Milano Slams Jay Mohr For 'Fat-Shaming' Comment Following Vegas NASCAR Awards

Alyssa Milano, "Project Runway All-Stars" host and panelist, responded to comedian Jay Mohr's "fat-shaming" comments just shortly after the Las Vegas NASCAR Awards.

Mohr reportedly made a few insensitive jokes regarding the actress' weight after the two attended the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards in Las Vegas the previous month.

The comedian allegedly made a few sly remarks about Alyssa Milano's post-baby body. Willie Geist of TODAY pointed out on Thursday that Mohr reportedly commented on the actress' weight on a radio show, saying "Alyssa was small in stature, but that she'd put on weight or something like that."

The radio show's guest host Brooke Shields added commentary of her own, saying "After having a baby! Or (he said) something to the effect of, 'She just didn't care (about her weight) anymore.'"

The comment was reportedly unfounded since looking at Milano's NASCAR Awards photos, there was very little, if any at all, post-baby kilos to lose.

The actress had gone a long way since giving birth to her son Milo back in August of 2011, as Milano turned up in Les Vegas sporting a skin-tight red dress that showed off her perfect curves.

However, as host Brooke Shields made a show of pointing out, the former "Charmed" actress answered the alleged insult in a "smart" and "classy" way through a tweet she posted on Christmas day.

"So sorry you felt the need to publicly fat-shame me. Be well and God bless. Please send my love to your beautiful wife," the actress tweeted, tagging Jay Mohr's Twitter account.

NBC presenter Al Roker gave comedian Mohr the benefit of the doubt, remarking that if he had said those words regarding Milano, "He's a comedian, so I'm sure he didn't mean to hurt her, but sometimes you get on a roll and people are laughing and you just take it up to the next level, and before you know it, some feelings are hurt."

With news of his comments going viral on the internet, the comedian shared a tweet on Thursday saying, "She's stunning. I mistakenly thought the absurdity of what I was saying would have been taken as a joke. #fail"
