Emily Maynard plans to tie the knot and settle down for real this time to Tyler Johnson, the former ABC reality show star shared to famous celebrity news outlet.
"The Bachelorette" star's boyfriend put a ring on it, with Emily Maynard gushing "We're really excited!" in an interview regarding her engagement.
Maynard has been looking for a new love since "The Bachelorette" but the star looks ready to walk the aisle with Johnson after spilling the details of her engagement to the media outlet.
27-year-old Johnson, a management consultant, proposed on Jan. 4 and presented girlfriend Maynard with five diamond-studded bands.
"I've had enough engagement rings!" Maynard delared. Before Johnson, the star had been previously linked and engaged to be married to the late Ricky Hendrick, "The Bachelor's" Brad Womack and "The Bachelorette" winner Jef Holm.
"We're really excited!!" Emily Maynard tells the magazine, referring to eight-year-old daughter, Ricki. "He proposed to me at home and gave both Ricki and me rings. It was so sweet! Ricki loves him more than she likes me!"
The pair first met several months before Maynard became a reality TV sensation in "The Bachelorette" but the two didn't get together until after her breakup from Jef Holm.
Maynard added that she and her fiance are looking forward to tying the knot "sooner rather than later" and that there was "no point in waiting."
Emily Maynard got her big television break as a contestant on "The Bachelor's" season 15, where she had been the one to win Womack's heart as well as his hand in marriage. Following their breakup, she got a show of her own and starred in the eighth season of "The Bachelorette" which earned her a proposal from Jef Holm.
Maynard and Holm broke up in October 2012.
The former reality show star had kept a low profile since her split with Holm but admitted in July that she had someone special.
"I have, yeah, but I've known him for a long time," she told a local media outlet about her new man.
