Atomic wedgie murder -- Oklahoma native Brad Lee Davis has been convicted with the murder of his stepfather by giving the man an "atomic wedgie" where he suffocated the victim using his own underwear.
The 33-year-old was arrested and charged with murder, following the death of his 58-year-old stepfather, Denver St. Clair. The two had reportedly been involved in a drunken family feud at a house along the east side of Oklahoma City, as confirmed by the arrest affidavit obtained by the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday.
Officials took Davis in on Tuesday. The affidavit obtained by the Sheriff's Office confirmed that he "grabbed St. Clair's underwear and gave him an atomic wedgie."
The Oklahoma man reportedly pulled the elastic waistband of his stepfather's briefs over the man's head and around his neck, said the affidavit.
Amy Elliot, a spokeswoman for the Oklahoma Medical Examiner, reported that blunt force trauma and asphyxiation were the main cause of death.
Sheriff Deputy Travis Palmer of Pottawatomie County reported that Brad Lee Davis and his stepfather had been drinking alcohol on December 21 at St. Clair's house at the time of the incident. St. Clair had allegedly began speaking ill about Davis' mother, his wife, which prompted the alcohol-induced attack by Davis.
The elastic waistband of the 'atomic wedgie' murder victim's underwear was found stretched over his face and head and had left ligature marks around St. Clair's neck.
Police also found blood spattered in the living room, kitchen and on the ceiling of the living room.
Brad Lee Davis was being detained in a correctional facility in Pottawatomie County without bond. The Oklahoma man's lawyer was not available for comment.
