Leonardo DiCaprio's second win at the Golden Globe awards in a musical or comedy category film "The Wolf of Wall Street". The 39-year-old actor brought his mom and not his Victoria Secrets girlfriend Toni Garrn, on the red carpet.
Leonardo was in tuxedo while Mrs.Irmelin, who escorts Leonardo in the red carpet wears an elegant white dress with blazer. Some says that his mom turned out to be his "charm."
He stopped to talked with his director Martin Scorsese at the red carpet and shared hug with friend Bradley Cooper, who was nominated as Best Supporting actor.
He beat Christian Bale for "American Hustle," Bruce Dern for "Nebraska," Joaquin Phoenix for "Her," and Oscar Isaac for "Inside LLewyn Davis."
The three-hour play is directed by Martin Scorsese in which DiCaprio portrayed the character of Jordan Belfort, a stock broker who live in life of hedonism, sex, drugs, gambling and parties. The film also features Jonah Hill, Matthew McConaughey and Rob Reiner.
In his speech, Leonardo explained how thankful he is with his director Scorsese. He expressed his admiration to Scorsese for being a visionary and a risk taker. Also, he did not forget to mention the production team from of the "The Wolf of Wall Street.
When Leonardo was ask if his father George and mother Irmelin get disturb by the vulgarity of his movie, he claimed that both of them were not fazed.
After the Golden Globe, Oscar will be the next top, where DiCaprio will have a stiff competition with the actor from "12 Years a Slave," Chiwetel Ejiofor and Matthew McConaughey from "Dallas Buyers Clubs."
