After seven months of dating, Ashlee Simpson announced in her twitter account last Jan. 13 that she is engaged with Evan Ross, the son of the famous singer Diana Ross. She captioned the picture, "My baby love and I are ENGAGED!!! Hallelujah Hawaii,"
This happen when the couple spent a holiday in Hawaii.
Evan Ross, the lead singer of the Supreme also posted the same picture and captioned it, "The love of my life said YES!!!!!! ''
The lovers are believed to be together since July 2013. Also, Ashlee was reported to be introduced with Evan's mom at a concert after-party in August.
Evan called Ashlee "the one" and is very sure of marrying her in the future.
This will be the second marriage of Ashlee since she was married to Pete Wenz last 2011 of Fall Out Boy's Bassist, whom she had a son. She was then linked with Vincent Piazza of Boardwalk Empire.
The two are very open with their relationship. They are even spotted publicly kissing and dancing, and discussing their plans on travelling to Europe.
Also, Evan was reported to be very close with Ashley's son Bronx Mowgli.
Both Ashley and Evan are happy with their relationship and inlove with each other. In an interview at E! News in November, Ashley claimed that she was "really happy". Ross on the other hand said that he is bringing both Ashley and Bronx to his mom on Christmas.
Ross' mom seems to be in favor of Ashley to be his first wife soon and both of them are open for their next plans.
Ross is part of "Hunger Games: Mockingjay" Part 1 and Part 2, as Messalla which will be on November and Ashley is very excited for him.
