After the alleged two rape incidents in Los Angeles on October 2013 and January this year, the footballer is now facing another sexual assault incident filed September last year in Louisiana.
Former NFL star Darren Sharper was arrested for sexual assaults on Friday and was released on a $200.000 bail.
The third sexual assault accusation was filed and confirmed by New Orleans police but refused to give any statements regarding the said incident.
New Orleans Police Department reports to WDSU.com, "The NOPD is investigating an allegation of sexual assault filed against Darren Sharper. As with every case alleging sexual assault, information gathered is extremely sensitive and the top priority of the detectives is to protect the person who filed the complaint. Because this is an ongoing criminal investigation, we cannot provide additional information at this time."
The alleged rape incident happened at a private residence in New Orleans' Warehouse District.
Sharper, working as an Analyst for NFL, has been suspended on the said network without pay effectively, as the investigation is still on-going.
Sharper worked as an NFL player for 14 years. He was a five-time Pro Bowler and a former member of Green Bay Packers on 1997. Also, he played for Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints.
The footballer will be attending court on Feb.14 regarding two separate incidents in Los Angeles. As for in Louisiana, the investigation is still on-going and Sharper has not been charged.
