In September 2013, the "Diamonds" singer mocked Kaepernick's girlfriend Teyana Taylor on Instagram after the singer/rapper uploaded an acapella video on Instagram.
Kaepernick's girlfriend earlier posted a video of herself singing an acapella version of "Caught Up In The Rapture" by Anita Baker.
The video showed Teyana Taylor singing her heart out while grabbing her head full of hair. Rihanna used the action to poke fun at Kaepernick's hot girlfriend when she also posted a video of herself and Yusef William's mocking the busty singer.
In the video posted, Williams sported a wig that looked identical to Taylor's hair and sang the same song, mocking Kaepernick's girlfriend's movements with her hair.
The feud that followed cost Teyana Taylor a gig, after Adidas executives decided to drop the singer from her advertising contract.
The up and coming hip-hop star team up with the sports brand in 2013. After Kaepernick's girlfriend's successful debut in February 2013, a second release was expected but due to the feud, it never made its way into retailers.
