On last week's Supernatural season 9 episode 10 "Road Trip," we saw Dean (Jensen Ackles) reluctantly agreeing to Crowley's wish in exchange for the demon's help in cracking an angel open from Sam's (Jared Padalecki) body. This week, Crowley (Mark Sheppard) is going to join Dean once more in in his new mission, and that is to kill Abaddon (Alaina Huffma). However, it seems that the unlikely duo's mission will be very challenging when they find out that the only thing that could kill Abaddon is "The First Blade," which is unfortunately at the hands of Cain (Tim Omundson), who is known as "The Father of Murder" and the trainer of the Knights of Hell. In a sneak peek to Supernatural season 9 episode 11, we are treated with a not-so-serious take on Castiel's (Misha Collins) taste buds now that he is angel-fied. The sneak peek teases us that Castiel can no longer enjoy his peanut butter and jelly sandwich since its tastes like "molecules" and nothing more. Looks like being an angel is not really an interesting thing at all. "It's disgusting," Catsiel could be heard telling the younger Winchester of his new eating experience. Then, the preview hints that Castiel and Sam will work to extract what's left of Gadreel's grace inside Sam's body. The official synopsis for Supernatural season 9 episode 11 titled "First Born" reads: "looking to reclaim his place as King of Hell, Crowley asks Dean for help finding "The First Blade," the only blade that can kill Abbadon. Knowing he owes Crowley a favor for helping Sam, and also wanting Abaddon dead himself, Dean reluctantly agrees and the two set off on a road trip. However, Dean and Crowley are completely unprepared when they find out who has the blade - Cain, the first son. Meanwhile, Sam is back at the bunker with Castiel who notices there is some leftover grace inside Sam. If they can extract it, they can use the grace to track Gadreel.
