Aaron Eckhart's new film is not the graceless, sewn-together corpse Frankenstein but a lean, quick and energetic reinvented version.
The movie is inspired by the novel "I, Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley that opens in a life of a monster in the modern world, lost and confused. Frankenstein will survive 200 years since Victor, his creator, made him. Eckhart's Frankenstein is chiseled and buff.

The character he portrayed was a Frankenstein looking for his purpose in life in which all of us can relate.
Eckhart did not expect the role. To prepare himself for the film, he read Shelley's book to internalize the role.
According to Eckhart, he spent six month packing his body and studying Kali Stick fighting so to convince the audience with his fight scenes in the movie.
He also needs to adjust with the film since it made use of a lot of green screen for effects making it harder for the actors to do the film.
"As an actor, that's your job. In the theatre you have to create the fourth wall, you know, you have to create what's out in the audience and all that sort of stuff so it really should be nothing new to actors," says Eckhart.
The 45-year-old actor became more eager to film the upcoming movie since it targets a wide range of audiences so the whole family can watch it.
"It has a lot of action, it's cool, it's 3D, but at the end of the day you are choosing between good and evil and using your instincts and trusting yourself to do it. I'm glad to participate in something like that."
The movie will hit theater on Friday, Jan.24, written and directed by Stuart Beattie.
Other cast includes Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda Otto, Bill Nighy, Jai Courtney, Socartis Otto, Aden Young, Caitlyn Stasey, Kevin Grevioux.
