Last week's Coven episode titled "Go to Hell," introduced to us that the witches who are in the running to be the next supreme must undergo a trial, a very bewitching test that will attempt to measure their powers. We have witnessed how Madison, Zoe, Queenie, and even Misty Day have manifested some potent traits of being very powerful witches, but are their powers enough to make one of them the new supreme of the coven? Interestingly, several theories on the season finale surfaced recently, but only one of them actually holds true on what is about to happen. First, there is this theory that the new supreme is actually no other than Fiona Goode's (Jessica Lange) daughter Cordelia (Sarah Paulson). Although she has always been very weak on the entire run of the season, fans should not forget that she also has manifested unique powers even when she was still blind. Moreover, despite being belittled by her own mother, Cordelia acts and decides as the most mature witch ever in the storyline. She even has good understanding of the odds and ins of the coven and has know-how when it comes to using the most complex spells. So could she be the next supreme? Meanwhile, another speculation claims that although Zoe may have shown such great powers throughout the series, it is not impossible that she is going to end up breathless in the finale. For one thing, she has always been jealous of Fiona and has also shown interest on the supreme position when she gifted Zoe and Kyle a ticket to their freedom. Interestingly, although our candidates to being the next supreme have shown great powers, we're not really sure if there is one of them who can complete the "seven wonders" which is composed of telekinesis, divination, concilium, transmutation, descensum, vitalum vitalism and pyrokinesis. Spoilers hint that Queenie will doubt herself more than ever given the fact that she does not have as much power than the other candidates.
