Christie Brinkley Hot [PHOTOS]: Supermodel Bares Sexy Legs, Feet In People Cover

Christie Brinkley is pushing 60 but she has the body of a 30-year-old and a face of an angel. It used to be an impossible feat but Brinkley proves you can look 30 years younger with a purely vegetarian diet and daily workouts.

Brinkley feels amazing at this stage of her life, and is looking forward to turning 60.

"I'm actually excited about turning 60," Brinkley told People Jan. 29. "I feel on top of my game."

Despite having rocketed to stardom as a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl, Brinkley insists she would never wear a bikini in public now.

"My kids would be so embarrassed!" said the mother of three. "In private I may wear a bikini, but at the public beach with my kids I would change bathing suits because they do not want to be hanging out with some old broad in a bikini."

Not surprisingly, other people disagree with the modest supermodel. "Christie looks phenomenal," says MJ Day, senior editor for Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue. "She has the legs of a 30-year-old and the face of an angel. She's what you aspire to look like at 60. She is mind-blowingly beautiful."

Brinkley has followed a vegetarian diet since age 12. "I've been a vegetarian since I was about 12 years old," she said. "When I became a vegetarian I got my mom and dad to become vegetarian, and my brother became a vegetarian."

Christie typically has oatmeal with mixed berries with breakfast, a large salad with beans and nuts for lunch, and pasta with vegetables for dinner. The 5-foot-9 blonde stunner snacks on dark chocolate, nuts, seeds, soy snacks or Fuji apples with peanut butter.

The fit mom of three works out regularly, doing a combination of yoga, strength-training, running and walking to maintain her stunning swimsuit body. "I really do use the Total Gym," she said. "That's not just advertising."

She tries to sneak in calisthenic exercises as soon as she wakes up in the morning. Christie typically does 100 push-ups every day. Brinkley, who has been divorced four times, said her primary motivation for staying healthy isn't vanity, but a desire to be around for her kids.

"Because I'm an older mom, I have a responsibility to my kids as well as myself," she said. "I want to be there for them."
