Bruno Mars Dies at 28: Shocking Reports About Singer's Tragic Death Was Confirmed A Hoax

Bruno Mars is dead at the young age of 28. At least that's what several news sites reported following the online circulation of the singer's alleged tragic death as reported by a notorious site known for making death hoaxes every now and then. The singer's fans were quick to express their condolences and sympathy to Mars' family and friends. However, it was found out later on that the online buzz was nothing but a celebrity death hoax, one that is very similar to other news victimizing several Hollywood celebs, stars, and famous personalities for several years now.

Just last week, the International Business Times reported about a celebrity death hoax that claimed Will Smith's passing. The site noted that the actor's alleged death came a week after Jim Carrey's hit social media and several news sites. This week, it's Bruno Mars, who has become a victim to this unexplained and quite bizarre series of death hoaxes.

So who is the culprit behind these false reports? It's Global Associated News, a website that has become very notorious for publishing all kinds of hoaxes especially those pertaining to alleged tragic deaths of celebrities and influential people.

Although the site is well-known for generating false reports, many are still unaware of its tricky nature simply because every report it makes is backed by convincing statements such as the time, place, and date of death of the famous and influential people it victimizes. For example, on Bruno Mar's alleged death, it was stated that the singer died of a tragic car accident today at around 4:30 am. The site even stated that the multi-awarded singer's death was confirmed by several authorities. Because of this, it is not surprising why some fans quickly voiced out their sentiments online. Some believed the report while other questioned it.

On the other hand, the Global Associated News report was slammed when a different report from Media Mass was found circulating the Internet as well. The other report states that the singer unfortunately passed away last January 31, 2014, making the inconsistent time and date of the alleged death on both reports very questionable. Additionally, Media Mass states that in light of the tragic news an 'R.I.P. Bruno Mars' Facebook page was created, and it even received a lot of likes, shares, and comments from fans all over the world.

"At about 11 a.m. ET on Friday (January 31, 2014), our beloved singer Bruno Mars passed away. Bruno Mars was born on October 8, 1985 in Honolulu. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page," the said Facebook page description reads.

But in a shocking twist of events, several sites claim that Media Mass is very similar to Global Associated News in terms of content and the nature of the sites. Both allegedly come up with false reports to generate clicks. As of late, no one could even confirm if there is or was indeed a Facebook page created for Bruno Mars.

And in case you haven't known yet, Bruno Mars is perfectly fine at the moment. If you watched Super Bowl's halftime show, then you already have a clue that the singer is still alive and kicking, and he is very busy with his hectic schedule of public appearances right now.

Bruno Mars joins a long list of celebrities and stars who allegedly died because of a death hoax. Some of the celebs and artists are Will Smith, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Woody Harrelson, Carry Underwood, and Jim Carrey among others.
