Apple iPhone 6 rumors have been buzzing in the mobile technology world since the introduction of the recent updates Apple iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.
According to a report by TechRadar, Apple iPhone 6 would no longer be updated but major design changes are rumored to be underway.
Amidst all the rumors and speculation, what has been made certain is the Apple iPhone 6's availability date, which is 2014. The exact date though is still unclear as of this moment.
One of the more reliable rumors was reported on Designntrend.com, which quoted "sources from the upstream supply chain" of the need for Apple to unveil a phablet-sized mobile device. This was in response to Samsung's continued domination of the niche, especially in the Asian market.
The release of the Apple iPhone 6 would help the primary purpose of Apple iPhone 5C, which is to become more "attractive and affordable" to the Asian market, specifically China.
Apple Inc had restarted the production of the previously discontinued iPhone 4 model. This move was a departure from tradition but a reiteration of the company's commitment to break ground in emerging markets such as Brazil, India and Indonesia. The iPhone 4 was phased out in October 2013 from the worldwide market just before the introduction of the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C.
The reintroduced iPhone 4 model has the Retina display, which many observers say would be one of the features of the Apple iPhone 6.
Apple iPhone 6 would have a screen size between 4.8 inches and 5.5 inches. Some rumors say that there would be two build phases, with each one having separate release dates.
The regular model is expected to hit the markets by May or June 2014 with the premium model of Apple iPhone 6 becoming available in September or later of this year.
