"Superman vs Batman" cast and release date rumors have fans sitting on the edge of their seats waiting for what could be the most epic superhero showdown in 2015.
The "Man of Steel" movie sequel has already sparked rumors since plans for production for were announced in 2013. From the cast to release date to costume designs, avid fans are eager to get all the juicy details of the upcoming "Superman vs Batman" masterpiece.

So far, the cast members which are confirmed to return for "Superman vs Batman" include Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.
A few other celebrities who are rumored to appear in "Superman vs Batman" are Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne.
"Man of Steel" director Zack Snyder will be taking charge of "Superman vs Batman" while David S. Goyer and "Argo" scriptwriter Chris Terrio have been called in to work on the movie's screenplay.
However, Christopher Nolan, who directed "The Dark Knight," won't be returning as "Superman vs Batman" producer.
